Hmmm, so your coming around with the blacklines, aye? I thought you didn't like them and prefer stock look?

ya that 15mm all around looks amazing. We did an M3 here with Macht Schnell spacers - 15 in the rear and 18 in the front and it looks flawless as well:

Did you go with them?
Laszlo, I just installed Blacklines today on my AW. I'll clean it up and take pics this weekend, I love it!

Thanks for the pics. Hows the rear. I've been thinking of going 12 rear and not 15 rear. Does it rub at all? Also where did you get ur hood cf vents?

PS can i meet up with you to see the car in person? Im in Torrance.

Ed Lin
Hey Ed come join us this Sunday in Woodland Hills for Super Car Sunday if you want to see the stance in person. I should be there with a few other members.

Would there be any issues with the factory 18's with the 15/18mm and H&R sport springs set up on e92? Thanks....

This thread was started in 2009.... so his sig has likely since changed. Welcome btw. Just spend some time looking at the sticky threads showing a variety of modded sedans.

Guys, just a little warning - I tried 12mm all around on stock suspension and got rubbing on big compression bumps. It was rubbing at the rear, where the plastic bumper cover meets the metal fender.

Additionally, I was getting some weird little vibration transmitted at every sharp impact - could have been the spacers I used, who knows.

Are you on stock 19s with stock tire size?

you rubbed with 12mm all around with stock suspension?
that's strange. No one seems to be rubbing with 15mm all around with STOCK suspension.

I did the big compression testt at high speed, it wouldn't rub normally when say going up a driveway. YMMV

interesting, I'll be on stock suspension and I'm still debating whether to get 15mm in the rears. If I have a full car (people) would I rub just going over speed bumps or any bumps? I just love how aggressive the 15mm looks on sedans
