Question Cold air for the car all the time.

Hey guys, I have a questions for you;
During the night when I drive my car it seems to run much better because of the cold air. So I was just wondering what could I do to my car to make it breath like this all the time?

Would you recommend I get a different filter, or intake system?
I don't really care for all that carbon fiber mum-bow-jumbow I just want the performance.

Let me know, Thanks..

Move to Alaska...?

No seriously, all you can really do is get some sort of new intake. Seems like most are carbon fiber, I got the Tecnocraft Envy Charge Pipe and Macht Schnell filter. I've been very happy with them so far.

First thing to do is take one of the inside air vents and reverse it so it ducts into the air intake under the hood. Then run your car with A/C on full cold...automatically 20 extra hp.

Stock intake it cold air already, just a get a better filter. Gains of full intakes just aren't worth the money

And yes this car loves to be in cold weather

If u don't wanna completely change your entire intake system at First, what you can do is u can change just the filter and get a nice drop-in filter like K&N or the others mentioned and see how that goes for you... If you feel a difference and like how it breaths then your good to go. Most guys I know just change the filter only and they are very happy as the stock intake system is good, just the filter is Crap!!! But If you don't feel that much of a difference and want more, then you can change your entire CAI System and it will for sure be better then stock... My 2cents....

I got the aftermarket
Macht Schnell BMW E90/E92/E93 M3 S65B40 High Performance Air Filter

and it works well but still I feel like the car runs sooo much better whens it's cold.
Normal for every car I guess.

buy a small air conditioner and mount it at the intake.

The Frigidaire FAA055P7A is pretty popular around here.

As others have already mentioned, you can change to an upgraded intake system, but I feel that it won't be a huge difference maker.

You've already added a drop-in filter, so I would leave it at that.

You can however, pray for cold weather everyday.

That's what they all say.

I don't think you'll be able to endure through how loud it is.

Alex from Gintani in LA is making an exhaust system for me for the time being. He says it's going to be very loud. Well see how it does. It's a full system.

Kind of pricey, though. If you want to get moar power for less cost, pop open your intake box and pour some ice in. Instant cold-air intake! I prefer cubed, but I hear crushed works better.
