UWO Formula SAE Racing Team Looking For Sponsorship
Hey Guys,
As some of you may know I am part of the University of Western Ontario Formula Racing Team. UWO Formula Racing is a team of undergraduate students that designs and builds a formula style race car, and then goes on to compete at a series of international races held by the Society of Automotive Engineers. At these events UWO Formula Racing faces off against some of the top engineering schools from around the world. As a student run, non-profit organization UWO Formula Racing relies completely on corporate sponsorship and fundraising in order to ensure the teams success. There are many benefits to sponsoring UWO Formula Racing, which are outlined in the sponsorship package attached. If you want, please take some time to review the package. Any bits would help, even from a non-financial perspective: shipping, parts, we are looking into sponsorship in building a Ti exhaust, etc. The car is pretty cool, probably as an enthusiast you're interested in some of the stats: 0-60mph under 3.4 seconds (untested this year yet: probably with some help will hit 3.2 sec), 1.5 G on skid pad, 4-Spd SMG style gearbox, much of it is CF construction. I can probably* arrange for you to be able to drive it and some cool benchmark testing against it too. We go to the biggest Formula SAE competition in the world so there are definitely some benefits in sponsoring. Thanks for your time and consideration everyone!
