Chevy SS

2014 Chevy SS is a very nice car, and according to many test drives, is track capable. It also resembles new Porsche GT3 in some ways

It also comes with an on board fire extinguisher like most Ferrari's!

The fire was caused by a relay switch for the caution lights mounted in the trunk. Nothing to do with the car.

I agree. Bad publicity is better than no publicity in this country. Its clear, that this fire has nothing to do with the car, but more ppl will pay attention to Chevy SS. I posted this video just for fun, and for those who have not seen this.
The rumor is, Chevy may drop magnetorheological dampers in SS next year, ones that are used in a new corvette stingray and will be used in c7 z06. If thats true, i actually may pick this car up as a daily driver and an occasional track warrior.

In my opinion, Chevy dropped the ball on the SS. THey had a perfect formula for the G8 GXP and f'ed it all up on this car.

If the SS were 6mt then I would 100% purchase. But... its not. I see absolutely no appeal otherwise.

Having that kind of power mated to a craptastic auto tranny is a major disappointment for me. I'd rather get a used 6mt CTS-V.
