Change manual, leatherette seat for electrical leather seats?

I want change leatherette interior of my E90 for leather interior.
I find interior leather with electric seat. My dealer said I cannot change it, because my present seats are manuals and the electronic of my car do not permit that!
Two questions: 1- Are the answer of my dealer right?
2- Manuel leather seat exist or not?
