I purchased this BMC air filter from another forum member. Unfortunately this filter does not fit my 2011 M3. After further research I found that this filter is for model years 2008/9 M3 which uses the US air box. The 2010+ models use European air boxes from what I have read.

I just received it today and found it did not fit. I would like to get back what I paid since I never got to use it.

According to the original seller the filter had a few thousand miles on it. The filter is in great condition.

If paid in the evening I will ship the next morning. Local pick up is available.

Please make sure this will work for you as I made the mistake of getting the wrong one without doing research.

I will display two pictures of what the filter looks like in a 2011 M3 and you will see how it does not fit. It will fit 2008/9 models.

$75.00 + USPS Shipping or local pick up.

I read that as well one the forum. IIRC the adapter is from a different manufacturer. I am not one to mickey mouse anything, I rather it be the correct piece. I'd hate for an adapter to come lose from road bumps or such and possibly need to open the air box to reseat the adapter.

I rather just sell this one to someone that has the correct air box and wait for the correct version to show up.
