2009 Mitsubishi Lancer Ralliart

Well there seems to be a lot of great cars that have come out in the last year and still are planned to come out in the next 1 or 2. Here is one of them...a direct competitor to the WRX. Since Mitshubishi never had a direct competitor before.

MSRP around 27k and it gets...

-AWD
-Active center differential
-2.0 MIVEC turboed and intercooled engine good for 235hp and around 253 lb/tq
-Twin clutch SST gearbox

The tranny is good, suspension is mush, power delievery is weak, over all just a gas wasting DD.

Doesn't even come close. It's basically a really detuned Evo. It was developed to fill the gap between the Lancer and the Evo....just like subaru has the impreza, wrx, and STI

They look like any of the modern Jap cars like Toyota, Honda, etc without any sort of real character.

Wow, I didn't know it was that close of a comparison. However, it came down to 4/10 of a second, which is not "clearly the winner" as the guy said...that comes down to driver error, etc. I'd take the R32 over that any day if price wasn't a factor.
