Carbon fiber mirrors/splitters

Im waiting to take delivery of my MR e92 with cf mirrors/splitters but im starting to second guess my opinion on their appearance. Ive never seen these parts on the car first hand so i was curious how people felt about them. I like the idea of the parts setting the car apart a bit from other non M BMWs but something tells me they might cheapen the look of the car as im not usually one for a heavily moded ricer type of look.

I think it depends on the color of your car. The mirror caps will look nice especially if you have the carbon fiber roof (regardless of car color). They blend in with the black shadowline trim. I don't think the splitters look good on white, but that's just my opinion. It basically hides the lines of the bumper. I think the splitters look best on black and space gray because there isn't much contrast.

I ordered all the CF parts haven't gotten them in yet to see what they'll look like, but for my MR car I am having second thoughts about the mirror caps. Idk why because they were initially the parts that I was the most excited about but now I am kind of regretting getting them. I guess its just the more I've been looking at it I am beginning to like the contrast of the red caps on the black trim.

IMO as for the riced out look goes most of the stuff for the M's retain a refined sporty style, which I believe will hold true about these since they are supposed to be hand crafted

I have the mirror caps in a jet black Cf roof car. They look great to me. But it goes very well with CF roof.

I have an E92 MR on order too and I am planing on doing the CF Splitters and caps as well. I think it will look sweet! Especially when I get the Red/CF CSL trunk. You should do it! And please post picts to help someone else out who is in the exact same position.

Thanks!

Nice find on the picture. Definitely things to think about. Id say with those wheels that person was obviously going for an after market look which i am not looking for. More and more i feel the mirror covers do not look good but luckily from what i can tell those are an install/removal.
