The naturally aspirated V8 in its full, untethered glory right there.
You drive that thing on the razor's edge - balls 'o steel. Impressive.

Well done! The M3 chassis has got potential with a few modifications and a good driver!
I’m enjoying a stock E92 M3 on a long journey from Norway to south of Italy with my family. I’m stopping by Nürburgring on the way home (8th and 9th of July). It will be my second time on the ring, but the first time in my M3. Hope to see you there! I could need some good advice before my Nordschleife record attempt☺. |

Pretty bloody outstanding lap, yet again...
Not lifting off anywhere between Bergwerk and Mut Kurve as far as I can see, even including the left at Kesselchen (which scares me at 120mph, let alone the speed you are doing. Great catches through Eschbach too. And yes - I did thing about rod bearings and reliability in general, given all the scare stories on here from others... Interested to know what your maintenance regime is? |

We changed the bearings only only once. At 30k miles/ 48k km.
Oil change happens like every 3-4k km (1,9-2,5k miles). But you have to know that 90% of the milage is driven on a track. So no. I don't go crazy in terms of maintenance but for sure do it more often than others who drive their car as a daily driver/ trackday car.
