18" OE Rear Wheels up front?
I searched, but couldn't seem to find anything on this...
Does anyone have pix of OEM rear 18's on all 4 corners? E39 M5 guys sometimes run rears up front for tire rotation and to "minimize understeer"... Anybody playing with this?

Square set-up is what I run. OEM rears in summer, OEM fronts with winter tires in the cold times. Sorry, I don't have any close-ups of the summer fronts, but they clear and don't stick out.

Thanks!
...So what I really need is another full set of OEM 18"s Guess I'll put a feeler out there. My car looks a lot like yours! Cooling towers: I live a few miles from Limerick Nuclear Power Plant near Philly. Best Regards,

If I ever need to pull a small stump out of the yard, I'll tie a rope to the rear and yank!

I went to this set-up for the same reasons you stated from the M5 board. This car really doesn't seem to have a lot of understeer, however. I'd show you the set-up in person, but won't have the wide wheels in front for another couple of months. Considering that I had to have a winter tire set-up, this worked out well for me. |

RJ, that is great to know. I am also interested in running a square setup. The only thing I worry about is how it might change the handling? Increases understeer, maybe?

From what I have read, increasing the front width to create a square setup decreases understeer.

Square will definitely exhibit noticeable oversteer but only if you're really pushing the car with DSC off.

I think you can use 40 series rubber in the front but you won't be able to turn full lock. 40 series rubber in the rear, 275/40 is a for sure.
