Do you think the new 370z will be able to touch the M3 much less a 335? It's supposed to lose a couple hundred pounds and gain 30 to 50 HP from the 350z. What do you think? And do you think it will be a great car for the price?

Of course. the 370z will thoroughly outperform the 335, and though i dont think it will reach the M3 it will settle right between the two..

but the 370z will be a very great bargain as long as it's priced starting high 20's, thru 40k FULLY loaded, maximum. if it goes beyond 40k it'll be ridiculous

However, I will concede, many of your arguments are thoughtfully rendered and all together unbiasly coherent. Or are they? i am not biased towards any company, im a member on nearly every type of forum and have the opportunity to drive all kinds of cars. I happen to own a 350 right now and i know how much i love the car. taking off hundreds of lbs and adding hp will make the car alot more fun.

I love cars almost as much as i hate to see a blind devotion.

The M3 is one of my favorite cars, but when its beat, i dont have a problem pointing it out.

Damn, I can't believe you guys saw through me. I guess my attempt at being a Nissan fanboy has failed miserably. The looks of the new 370z however feels very disproportional. The tiny rear quarter window will sure give the fanboys headaches when they try to cut people off with that enormous blindspot.

Even if the new Z car beats the M3 at the track, it will most likely lose out on the practicality and comfort that makes the M3 so succesful as an all around daily driver.

Well thats not truly fair, we are trying to compare stock to stock, there really is no point in comparing stock vs modded or modded vs modded because in the end the one with the biggest wallet will win.

as nice as it would be, i dont think you can pass it off that easily.

the 370z has the worlds first rev-matching manual, which if nothing else means that they tuned this car for on-track driving, otherwise this wouldnt have been added.

More hp, less weight, i dont see why it wont tear the 335i apart on a track...

Not even the m3 thoroughly outperforms the 335, especially with a jb3 mod, then its a beast.
