I'm now 40 and hopefully I'll beable to get the next M3 at say, 45ish

Oh my god. Who the f&%* cares?

At Monterrey this year at the German car concourse I saw a gentleman that had definitely been retired a while, and he was driving a brand new GT3. Maybe it was his first Porsche, maybe his 20th, but all that matters was that he was geeked up to be there in it. I don't think he thought twice what others thought.

I mean come on, live your life for yourself, not what others think.

op, I wish I could have been able to afford this car when I was a "kid."

At close to 80k out the door, I'm not sure I know too many " kids" who drive this car.

I dont think kids are bmw's target audience for the m3. Scions, yes, but not the m.
