I drove impaired once. I was at a wedding reception and was hammered. Thought I was fine, I went to drive to meet my friends so they could drive, they were at another restaurant. It was literally 1 block away so I thought it would be no problem, no turns. As I turned into the parking lot I squealed my tires big time. That was a sobering moment for me as I realized, man I am pretty darn drunk, I won't do that again (and never did). Anyways, I don't think anyone deserves their life taken away for something like this but let's leave that discussion elsewhere, who knows, his family might be reading this.

RIP, my girlfriend knew him, not well, but says she met him. He was a horseback rider so I'm assuming thats why he was in Wellington (horse scene). My GF's good friend and him constantly car pooled together to the club he was at prior to the accident. I guess it's fortunate and unfortunate as he was alone, who knows how the situation could have turned out had he had someone to say slow done. Regardless whats done is done, and may the poor guy RIP.

R.I.P. Daniel
Death is always sad no matter how the person died. We just need to learn from other people's mistakes. Be safe everyone.
