Hang in there with the delays. As I think I posted earlier in this thred, I was delayed originally 6 weeks back in February because of the 19" wheel shortage. Finally, it ended up being delayed about 4 1/2 weeks, and is now at the Port (still...one week and counting).
When I first found out, I was so pissed, but then, I had to put things in perspective. Given the economy and all the other bad things that could happen to you, waiting on a $55K - $75K European sports car/sedan isn't a bad problem to have. We're lucky to be able to afford it! |

That's the thing. If you start checking the production date right after you order, then you will start having a lot of headaches. Just wait for the estimated production date and THEN you can start calling. But checking every 2 hrs will just drive you crazy! There a lot of factors that will influence production and nobody will be able to assure that the factory will be supplied with all what is needed. My CA said that these delays are something new for them and is not something usual. And this is happening in other models also e.g. the 1 series. Just be patient. |

I think I've past the insanity level. But everyone is right, just have to be patient and hope that we all get bumped up and have our M3 sooner than we think

I hope your right dude, better sooner than later.
We all can just sit back and play the hurry up and wait game

You can call your CA and ask him. Also, the phone rep will tell you that you are scheduled for daily production pack if you are 112.

Priority 1 just means the car is "Customer Sold" Everyone ordering a car should be Priority 1.

Actually some of phone reps know but they aren't suppose to share that information. But if you get that one is "cool" about things you can ask in a roundabout way.

Yep, one rep said I was 112 once, a later rep said I was "order accepted" ie 111.
I called Tuesday and promised myself only once per week but when I hear someone moving up from 24 to 19 I get all weak...

Hi everyone, I am thinking about canceling my order. As I said in my last post my order has been pushed back to week 24. I have noticed that most who were moved from week 19 to week 24 have been moved back to week 19, my order is still week 24. It seems no one knows why. It gets kind of frustrating for me since I ordered my car back in Feb. and my production week was 14 and know it has moved back 10 weeks.

You've waited this long, I would wait. Plus what are other alternatives you thinking about? There still a very good chance that you would be bumped up. On the other hand there is also still a chance that my status can be move back. Only until production, we are all in the same boat. Keep cool and good luck. |
