Car And Driver Sucks

Their new website completely sucks!!!! An article comparing the Acura RL to a bunch of other cars was easy to find before and now the C&D website is about as useless as all the rest, cursory, with little to no information. Like they redesigned it to read like "Car for Dummies".

Totally pisses me off......

Rant over.

I agree, the new website sucks. And they screw up the ranking of some comparison tests... 1st became last, etc.

I've been really dissapointed with C&D recently. Their magazine and site are worsening imo. The magazine gets shorter as each month goes by, whereas inversely the number of ads go up like crazy. The pictures are over-inflated and the text is dwindling. I'm starting to lose faith.

R&T is still okay, as is Motor Trend. R&T has a much better site than either of those mags.

The only real mags that I like a lot nowadays are Car, Automobile, Evo, Top Gear, and, uh, I guess Motor Trend. Shame really.

+1...I hate all the info being dis organized...! They should do something about their search engine

Here's what we all should do....Chip in money to buy out 'Caranddriver' and make it a whole alot better

i have 4 of the major car mags (C&D, R&T, MT, and Automobile).. C&D used to be my fav for years until this past year or two when it started to go down hill. the writings has gotten worse and the ed uses language that i would find in Maxim. alot more sarcasm and not much real useful information/answers especially in the letters section. R&T is still decent. Motor trend is fine as well and automobile is pretty good.

C&D now seriously feels like has an editor that is 16 years old.

reminds me a bit too much of Motor Trend, but from a style standpoint, I quite like it.

Also +1

They both have a nice colorful layout, and they like to do that whole colored boxes thing. Hard to explain without just scanning a page, but I'm sure you kinda know what I mean.

Road and Track needs to work on its presentation.

Although, I like BMWs.. I think they have a bias in favour of Bimmers, especially towards 3 series..

What about "European car" magazine. Have you ever read it? It's great.
