E93 owners, do you get window rattling?

Hi, I've got a 2010 E93 M3 and there is a lot of rattling coming from the windows from both sides. It seems like the glass is vibrating a lot when driving on rough roads and it is hitting the walls of the window trim. The rattle goes away when I roll the windows down halfway. This is really bugging me and I want to get rid of it. Anyone else getting this problem?

Had this on my E92... It sounds like a rattle but in my experience it is actually the glass on rubber making the noise. Here is the fix...

Clean the seals very well to remove any old silicone, etc (maybe diluted isopropyl alcohol). Get yourself some Gummipledge rubber conditioner (or another non-silicone based rubber conditioner) and treat the seals very well. Re-apply each time you wash the car for a month or so.

I did this and it went away. I haven't conditioned the rubber seals all winter and it has not returned.

No issues here.

2009 E93 with about 12,000 miles, stored winters. The only rattle that I have had was a loose screw on one of the panels under the car...too many high speed Autobahn runs?

Good luck getting it fixed, the one had was annoying.

Get it checked out! With the E93 I imagine it is different from my previous complaints about squeaky windows and side view mirrors. Rattling windows is probably something inherent with only E93s. In any regards I took my E90 to the dealer 4 times and they tried everything, even replacing all the seals. It worked after the seal replacement for a summer, but I think it's coming back. Do a search on this topic to see if anything resembles your problem.
