Very few dampers really cover this range both fully and successfully.
What are your thoughts on spring rates for these? Dual purpose car used on rough roads.

Thanks.

How did you like the JRZs?

I have been in a Moton Club Sport M3. In no way does it ride like the car being in MDM. If you hit a dip with enough oscillation, the Moton equipped car feels like it will catapult you out of the drivers seat.

I would be happy to give you my opinion.

Well, that's why we are always talking about suspension set up. It depends on how you play with shocks, springs, etc. Also, there are good set up, bad set up, and ugly set up. For shocks like Moton, they can go wrong with just a click or two.

I had JRZ RS on Cayman, which had me to send out for rebuild twice in the first year due to leaking. I wasn't liking them much.

I have been running JRZ RS Pro on my GTR for 2.5 years. I love them. Never had any problem. A bit more expensive than RS, but you get a whole lot more adjustment.

Someone has mentioned above that 1 way adjust shock is easier. That's true. If you don't have support, then RS1 will be a better choice. For JRZ, every click makes difference, you don't really want to mess up with them.

I understand, however, Moton CS in any setting, soft or hard, is far more firm than the stock M3 in MDM mode.

The spring rates are pretty high in comparison to stock, suspension travel is less and the dampers are very fast.

You must simply be used to your Moton setup.

I am thinking about ordering a set of RS1s next week for my E46 M3. I am just in the hunt for finding the best prices I can get.

If you guys have any recommendations, let me know.

Yup.
Getting them from Bimmerworld. Have been very helpful and answered all my Qs, plus you can depend on them for support afterwards.

Still up in the air, but thinking either 400/700, 450/700 or 500/750.

Edit------ ended up going with 450/700 spring combo.
