VF620 Review

I would like to first thank Nik, Jeff, and Paul at VF Engineering for everything! Nik even stopped by our shop at 12am to lend a hand (got his hands dirty...LOL). Also, thanks to Tom and Steve @ EAS for dynoing the car and giving me great advice!

I tracked my car pretty hard for the last 6 months I've owned the car and I wanted to get into a different car. I sold EVERYTHING that was on the car and listed the car on auto trader to sell. After talking to VF and EAS I decided to keep the car and supercharge it.

The installation was quite easy. Ran into some minor issues with the instructions but was taken cared of by Nik. Once we got everything installed and started the car the car idled PERFECTLY! No leaks, no check engine lights, and no abnormal sounds.

Ran the car hard from the start and I was FLOORED! I couldn't believe how much power it was pushing. The power delivery is super smooth. The sound from the engine bay is so quiet you wouldn't know it has a SC on it.

I wanted to see how much power it was making on the dyno so I took it to EAS. I don't have any other mods on the car other than the supercharger itself (OEM xpipe/mufflers). The car made 532whp 353tq STD Smoothing 5. 91 octane 6spd.

I've had the SC on for 5 days now and I couldn't be happier! I daily this car and the mpg is about the same if I don't push it, but it's hard not to.

Next I will track test the SC next month at AAA Club and Buttonwillow. I'll keep everyone posted!

WOW, that's big power for having stock exhaust too! Congrats!

Thanks for sharing all the different dynos. I am very surprised to see a 13:1 AFR for a boosted car on this motor!

Also, 392whp SAE for bolt-ons and no tune! That's insane!

Could you post your conditions as well? I am just rather curious.

Once again, congratulations and enjoy the monstrous power in safety! Time to free up the exhaust to pull out more power

The programmed AFR is set to 12.32

The Dynojet sniffer measures at the tailpipe which is post both factory cats and therefore "leaner".

Using a scan tool one would see a more accurate AFR at the primary lambda sensor. All installs are logged and checked to validate target lambda meets request.

Great build.

Okay. Excuse my ignorance, so the computer continually adjusts, at WOT, to ~12.32? Or, am I taking your statement out of context?
Obviously, the DME must be tuned pretty close because I'd think that the O2 sensor can only adjust the fuel trims so much.

To OP, congratulations.

When I talked to Steve@EAS he said that their sniffer runs about 1.0 higher than usual
