Fuel question

I have a 2011 e92 m3. I have noticed that there have been gas stations in my area that have started to offer ethanol free 91 octane gas. I've currently been using 93 octane 10% ethanol. Which would be better for my car?

The higher octane the better bro. No reason to force knock if possible to avoid.

Cheers

What is the problem of having 10% ethanol anyways?

That's my question. From what I understand ethanol reduces gas mileage, destroys rubber components of your engine and causes water to accumulate in gas tank. I use 93 octane 10% ethanol fuel now but more and more gas stations are offering "pure gas" but it's octane rating is only 91. I know some parts of California only offer 91 octane and people with m's use it all the time. Was just wondering what is the best long term option for an e92 m3.

Most modern cars can accommodate up to 10% ethanol. We're talking software and the components that the ethanol comes in contact with.

Ethenol is crap additive. Ill take pure gas any day of the week.
Someone show me that you get knock with 91 when BMW designs with 91 min. Sure it'll run slightly better with higher octane but theres a slight tradeoff with running corny
