I wonder if these rims will be as soft as the E46 Comp package.... I think I bent one of those every 5,000 miles......

According to south, the 359M wheels are the same width as the standard 19" wheels. I believe the GTS actually has slightly wider wheels (don't quote me on that).

To me it looks like they are 1/2" wider on both the front and rear..... Take a look and see!

Attachment 344081

Attachment 344082

Tires are the same size though..... maybe that was what south was referring to!

You're right, only the tires are the same size. I missed that the wheels are wider.

Best regards,
south

Thanks to BMRLVR, I have to correct this, so I edited my comment above.

M3 GTS and M3 ZCP share the same wheel widths, but only the GTS actually has wider tires (255/35 tires up front and 285/30 in the rear).

Best regards,
south

Ok, so they are the same wheel as the GTS then. They just don't have the black finish, and they don't come with the wider tires that the GTS does. I'm sure a lot of people who get 7MA will be swapping out the stock rubber for wider rubber as found on the GTS. I know I would.

I know there's no way of knowing with any kind of certainty, but what should we expect to pay for the 359M wheels as a standalone purchase?

I would assume if they are made the same way as the ZCP wheels, they should be similar in pricing. 700 a wheel or so?

My guess will be $4000-4500 for a set.

According to this information.
I have a question.
Many people change their wheels setting, such as wide, offset...
What will happen to DSC?

Mark's M indicated that they were lighter than our optional forged 19" wheels, which would be impressive given that the 359M wheels are larger and cast.

+1. I hope Southlight can provide us beacon-light to make a good decision.

I like the new comp wheels.

The regular 19" wheels look waaay to similar to the e46 wheels. I am kind of getting sick of them. This is a good change but still they look similar to the e46 comp package wheels. haha Which is not a bad thing.
