Latest addition to the Bimmer Family - Alpine White E93

I would rather the pictures speak for themselves.... Signed the paperwork last Friday, picked her up on Monday of this week, and started the modding.

Fresh from the dealership.

On Wednesday, had the windows tinted.

Today, Friday Sept 19th, more or less finished! Hope you like....

Yes, I was wondering myself why they were sitting weird. I was at Umnitza the other day, and Matt (owner) brought those to my attention. Looks like the offset may be off a bit. I wan't go to stress over them, since I'll be burning through the rubber so fast that it won't make too much of a difference for now. As a matter of fact, I'll probably get better fuel economy

BTW, the tire/wheel combination came straight from the dealership.

Uh, like I said, the tire/wheels combo came directly from the dealership. Maybe I should mention that this is a preowned vehicle, not something I just ordered from Germany.

Believe M3 offset is 23f and 29r, those probably doesn't march. Add a spacer and your done mate.

Ps. Dealers never seem to get serious about their work and customers...

What size tires are you running on those rims? I'd suggest buying wheels with the proper off-sets or at least adding spacers to even out your stance.

Yeah, I plan on switching out the wheel/tires after burning through this set. Funny, when I was examining these at the dealership, I was scratching my head when looking at the wheels, but was focusing on closing the deal on the car.

Interestingly, this is going to be a 'work' car and daily driver--looking at 20-25K annual miles just for work!

Thanks to all for the compliments. My E46 is feeling VERY neglected at the moment

It does seem a little strange to have an M3 with 335is wheels...looks terrible compared to even a stock E93 M. Do you know the history of the car? Just curious.. :-|

Welcome to the AW E93 M3 Club!

(But those 335 wheels are way too narrow for your M3... add spacers and you can get away with it!)

I know, I know, that's why you buy a convertible. But, my youngest daughter is having a blast with the top up, which she misses so dearly when I drive the kids in the E46 Vert. At least the weather here in California is conducive to driving top down for a little while longer

Yes, yes, yes...I know
Most likely a whole new set and a little drop in stance with new springs. That will be the next project.

The more I look at them I think with some aggressive spacers and a little drop they'll actually look pretty cool!
