New E93 Owner--Formerly Heavily Modded 550i Owner-Hello!

Hello E90 Members!

I wanted to introduce myself to this vibrant community. I have been on the E60 Forums for the last 3.5 years under the handle "SoCalM5Mang". My Car was/is a beautiful Teutonic Beast. I grew tired of getting pulled over by CHP for nothing but driving an enviable and sickly modded 550!

A week ago I pulled the trigger and "upgraded" to a Brand New and very shiny Jerez Black M3 Convertible. I must say coming from a very modded 550(torque was close to 390), I am AMAZED at the power this car is capable of. And no, I haven't remotely opened her up. I can tell she packs a serious punch though and can't wait to break her in.

I'm looking to modify her ever so subtly and was hoping you knowledgeable folks could help recommend some cool things that won't make her over the top and a "Five-O Stalked M3".

I'm thinking right now:

Carbon Fiber Hood and Boot Roundels
Carbon Fiber Wheel Caps
Power-Coated Rims (19' Double Spoke Black or Gun Metal)
Spacers(to widen er out a bit)
RPI Scoops
Blacked Out Kidney and M Side Grilles
Trunk Lid Spoiler(Carbon Fiber?)
Matte Black M3 Trunk Badge
Carbon Fiber Mirror Covers

This should be it "for now". Maybe down the road I'll consider software remap, bolt on exhaust and pulley's. (only if RPI does a custom job for me ).

Any advice or recommendations would be helpful. I'm also looking for cool places to shop for M3 components other than EBay.

I look forward to meeting many of you and becoming a regular and contributing member here.

Have a great weekend!

I went from a 550I to A M3 as well. Didn't need a 4 door anymore since I had a SUV and I agree its been a good change. When I went from my Dinan stage 3 540I to my 550I I wasn't happy now going to the M3 I am happy again.

keep us up to date with what you do to your M3.
I have the same Jerrez black convertible coming in April and want it to look a bit different this side of the large pond between us.

Cant belive they dont come with a boot lip spolier as standard the coupes do.
What difference does it make to a convertible.

Congrats! You'll love that colour combo.....Let's see pics!

I saw Palladium Silver on Sparkling Graphite at the dealership and it looks incredible...ended up with Jerez/Fox because it was better optioned out, I bet Palladium looks amazing on Jerez, since both Jerez and Palladium have a blueish tint!

Oh and a popular E93 mod is the blackout aluminum window trim. I'm torn whether to do it or not, but almost every is of the opinion it's a must do! (vinyl or paint)

I have just added the high gloss shadow line to my order after seeing one without.
I think this looks pretty aweful how can BMW not include the glos shadow line as standard the chrome just just odd.
