Can anyone recommend a non marring (or not) socket long enough to reach the rear studs on HRE P40s? Or do I just use an extender?

Any and all attempts to use of the words "stud" and "extender" to make fun of me are fully welcomed.

I have to use a deep socket plus a short extender to make sure my torque wrench doesn't brush against the edge of the tire/wheel rim. I use a "generic" version of the Griot's socket noted above but never had any problems with a standard deep socket scratching either.

I use a 17mm deep socket that has a plastic sleeve

I bought my brother in law the Griots set. For me, I'm cheap, so I just wrapped my deep socket with electrical tape.

The Koken thin-walled wheel bolt sockets will reach inside the tightest and deepest wheel bolt hole, to extract the lug bolt (or lug nut if you have studs installed) without scratching up your expensive aftermarket wheels.

Nice rec. Good to see it is designed to handle impact wrench loads so I will def pick this up. Only wish they sold the 17mm separately.
