18's on M3

Brand new to the forum, I get a hold of my Jet Black M3 on Monday and can't wait. I have a question though, are all 18's that come on the car that dark finish? Seems the dealership here in West Virginia couldn't answer that question...I ordered the 18s on mine and I like how the dark wheels look on a black car.

I believe that is correct. Somebody had their 18's refinished in a lighter silver. I tried searching for it but couldn't find the thread. Good luck.

yea they're grey color very nice IMO. I prefer the 19" silver color but I'm getting the 18" since they still look good. I am going for extra set of wheels + winter tires so that's $1200 saved instead of the 19" wheels will just about pay for an extra set of wheels.

the edges of the tires look kinda round... the tires look puffy or something... kinda look weird, or is it just me?

The 18s are approximately the same color as space grey.

i thought the same thing when looking at the 18's... they look very bulbous/chunky.

+1. Thinking of ordering 18 to save money, saw it at NYC auto show, ordered the 19 instead....
