bro i hate to shit in your cheerios, but yes, houston is humid, but the heat indices are a measure of relative humidity and air temperature. if my heat index down the street is 117, and yours in 102, take a guess at which is hotter

it's not about which is hotter - it's about which one makes you feel like a bag of dicks....

i'll go run 4 miles right now in 117 degree weather - try that shit here in Houston and die...

it's like Arizona heat - it's just dry heat.......

plus, ya'll cool down a lot sooner than we do. while ya'll are enjoying ya'lls 70 degree early Octobers, we'll be getting blistered with upper 90's/100 degree weather still.....

walk outside at 8AM in Houston and bog down like a VW Beetle trying to go mudding....

i wasn't necessarily referring to the weather, it's shitty in both places, although most of the time shittier in houston, but the city sucks in comparison.

this summer in dallas is going to go on record for being the hottest summer ever by the time it's done. the last summer this bad was 1980. another 10 days and we'll have broken the >100 degree high record. record highs recorded the last 3 days in a row with no relief in sight.

Yea I hear ya...our July was 3rd hottest ever, wettest July ever, and 7th wettest month ever. So far, August isn't much cooler

we haven't seen anything but a freak 5 minute shower since something like mid-may. but that shower was isolated and didn't even record at the airport, so officially, nothing. and my sprinkler system doesn't work, so i'm pretty much a hay farmer right now.

ya'll have gone 31 days with 100+ degree weather - that's brutal, especially for Dallas when it only stays hot for a few weeks.

it gets cooler as the sun starts to drop and the humidity practically vanishes in Dallas.

here's another comparison at 6PM - in Houston the humidity is so brutal and thick that it keeps the hotter temptarues throughot the late afternoon and into the night.

that's why your balls hang off your body at 7AM walking from your car into work because it's already 92 degrees with 70% humidity

p.s.
i went to Dallas 3 weeks ago to pick up my new puppy and it felt nice. not down right miserable hot. i could feel the warm sun, but i wasn't choking on the humidty....

two Fridays ago I was in a wedding, outside, in a suit.

heat indext at 6pm was 120f. I didnt know I could sweat through a suit at the knees in 5 minutes.

sweatiest taint ever. luckily we were back inside getting shit hammered in only 25 minutes but DAMN that was miserable.
