Ut oh - another 1200 mile Service Question -- is 750 too soon?

Hi - my dealer just called me saying the M3 called the service center to schedule an appointment (apparently the M is more organized than I am) ... in any event -- the car's at 750 miles, but the service guy says that's fine/close enough and to bring it in. Can anyone confirm this is OK?

Thanks in advance

It's calle a 1200 mile service for a reason...

I know thousands of BMW lab coats are probably wrong, but they might have a reason!

doesn't matter...just make an appointment and put some more miles on before you go in for service. I took my car in for service with 900 miles and it didn't explode

OK cool. Thanks guys. I like doing things by the book so it makes me a little nervous. That said, it sounds like it'll be OK. I'll go rip another 100 miles on it tonight

just sent mine in with almost 1k miles on it. The SA stuck my key in some device and said it was ok for service based on the reading he got. Weird! Either way, I'm going to follow the break in procedure when I get her back.

The service intervals are not fixed but are condition based, which means that the car will indicate it needs a service based on how it is driven, the driving conditions, etc. so it may be 1200 miles, or maybe sooner in some cases.

When it says to bring it in several hundered miles before the 1200 does that mean it has been driven hard? I wasn't sure.

I don't think so, because mine said to bring it in around 750/800 and I've been adhering to the break-in by the book.
