I went to the track this weekend with a Dinan Stage II, toe links, and 275 square conti scrubs. I think the package overall was marginally better than OEM. Really needs front camber.
Otherwise, I thought the rear end was more controllable and settled. The only time the rear wiggled under braking was when I stomped on the pedal in a violent manner. But it felt planted as long as I was braking smoothly. So not that different from stock. Quite frankly...would I have spent $2k to buy the Dinan Stage II and the toe links brand new? NO. I don't think it made a massive difference. I wanna say that you're wasting your time unless you upgrade the dampers and get adjustable front camber plates. Can these toe links help? I think so but these would not be a priority on my mod list.

Thanks for the update. It's what I expected, sounds like a stiffer coil over set would benefit a bit more from the toe links.

I did the install myself and a BMW Master Tech aligned it to the dinan spec except for the front toe which was set to 0. I don't have EDC.
The dinan stII is a little better than OEM. Definitely stiffer but it doesn't make sense from a cost perspective for the track. If I'm going to spend $1450 on the Stage I and plates...I'm halfway to a pretty good set of coilovers. While the back end did behave a little better...not sure if I can attribute that to the rear link or the stiffer springs. For a $2k+ setup, I'd expect a little more. For the street, I think the Dinan Stage 2 is a good setup. The camber plates are a total waste of money IMO. It's ok for track and ok for the street but not optimal in either case. Why bother?
