That was you that took the dolphin in the wave pic? Very cool, I saw it before... it was going around by email at one point.

Luck or not it's an amazing shot. I guess the fact it looks like a shark probably helped it get around as much as it did.

Do how did you make money from it? Licensing it to magazines? Selling prints on your site?

Anyway, very cool. Congrats.

To date, it's grossed about 100K.
18 magazines, 5 major ad/marketing campaigns, 1,000's of prints, etc.........

here is a billboard in Prague.
It was on about 250 billboards throughout Europe for Wrigley Chewing gum.

Adelphia in So Cal used it for a mail/marketing campaign.
Sent out about 1 Million mailers, for thier 'Safe Surfing' the internet campaign.....

Those kind of things....

It's like your million dollar baby. That's really cool.

Have you looked into getting it published as a poster and/or distributed?

Wow! That's cool. It's an honor to meet you.

I saw this photo do the rounds as a 'best photo of the year' Powerpoint that went around by email. I was really convinced that it was a photoshop. Knowing that it's a dolphin and not a shark is something of a relief.

Great photo. Glad you were able market and monetize it so well.

Nope, NO Photoshoppin' done there.
That's Imoral...... ;-)

I've looked into the poster thing.
I'd make more money doing what I'm doing, selling prints on my own.

Yes, you can have my autograph.
Buy a print and I'll sign it ! ;-)
