Michelin finally making PSS tire in long-awaited 285/30/19 size!!!!

I contacted Michelin yesterday to inquire about the PSS tire in size 285/30/19. Here is the response-

"Thank you for your email and your interest in the Pilot Super Sport tires. In the P285/30ZR19ZP we launched the Super Sport at the end of 2014. I recommend checking with your local Michelin dealer as stock should become avaliable soon. I apologize for the long awaited release of this tire and may say, nice car!"

I've read countless posts on here naming this as their rear tire of choice, if it existed. Well, now it does!

Figured I'd spread the good news. Cheers

Unfortunately I believe it is a runflat for the new Vette.

I'm going to need two rears in the coming months and if they aren't off back order by then I'm just ordering 275s.

Yeah, but even 275s are hard to come by.

I might be forced into some contis or bridgestones.

Currently in stock on tire rack so I'm not too sure where you are looking.

Yup. Just checked as well. Will these fit our competition rims? Also, what's the largest you can do up from on the same rims?

You can do 275 no problem. Same with 255s up front.

Not only are these runflats (ZP stands for Zero Pressure), but they also don't make matching 255/35-19 ZPs either.

I don't know why Michelin hasn't made a PSS in the 285/30-19 yet. So frustrating...

275's also on back order in Toronto. Not sure how long the wait is going to be. May be tempted to go 20's
