Forgestar F14 opinions

Hey everyone. I have some questions about the longevity and quality of Forgestar F14s. Are there any members that have had these wheels on their cars for a long time without issue? Do they have a lot of pitting?

I had a set of 2 piece Forgestar F14F on my Lexus prior to buying my M3 and had no quality issues. Those wheels cost upwards of $3,500 and I was mind boggled when my sales person at Forgestar told me I could get a set of F14 for my M3 at ~$1400. The price seems too good to be true as that's cheaper than buying the ZCP wheels I really want on my car.

I but didn't find anything talking about the long term reliability. Other wheels I'm considering are the BBS CH-R (heavy) and a set of ZCP wheels (seem expensive as most used sets are 2k+ with curb rash lol).

Thanks for any input

I did my research and found that their load rating is not within BMW's suggested appropriate limit.

They're good wheels and held up well. I now run CF10 and they seem great so far also. I'm a big forgestar fan and I track my car a lot and have had no issues.

1520lb/wheel is less than BMW's rec'd rating? Seems hard to believe. They're certified by various orgs and I haven't heard of any issues from cracking etc. Any wheel can fail, but I don't think it is something to worry about (and I pound curbing at 120mph on track).

Forgestar's are a great option for those that don't want to spend to much money on rims. I've had CF5's on my car and tracked it with no problems.

Btw if you're looking at 18" F14's I can beat the price quoted for you if you PM me.

I think thats old info when they were originally at 1200, now at 1520 they should be fine.

I had F14's on my E55, which carried quite a bit more weight than the M3. No problems whatsoever.
