Perhaps an FBO DCT, starting at higher rpm's, can do better (still will loose to a C63PP, though).
Teaser vid. I wanted to see the result coming out of turn 1!

If a modded C63 vs modded m3, theres no way for m3 besides s/c. C63 can push out over 500rwhp and stay NA

I raced a stock one with my car and I was also stock and I pulled on it due to his shitty launch.

Still the C63 looks are horrible. It's a woman's car, period.

Not even debatable.

I came from C63 and now with M3. Just cant understand why M3 owners think that c63 will be smoked by m3 at track. Do you know that C63 Nurburgring lap time is faster then the M3?

I really want to run a C63 with my E60 M5.

I ran my friends 997 TT a couple days ago and beat him by about 2 cars from 40-170... it was quite an epic race. Given that I think the C63 doesn't have a chance..

But against an M3 it's tough

just for a couple of organs which are in pair anyway you can put a supercharger (e.g. http://www.esstuning.com/categories/...252dSeries/M3/) and destroy most AMGs. However I envision you'll sell the rest after meeting Nissan GTR or porsche turbo.
To make the situation even worse - you can tune N54 335i for a couple of thousands to show some tail pipes to stock M3 on the straight.
My point is that there's no hope for victory in those wars and M3 is not a straight line performer, its power is in balance of everything.

I don't get what all the debating is about. What is the size of the C63 engine vs. the M3's engine?

These Nurburgring lap times were made by professionel drivers, C63 will probably be smoked at the track because the M3 is easier to drive near its limit, just like the RS5 will probably be faster then M3 in most hands! Just my opinion!

Typical fanboy excuse

Slower is slower, the rest is just bs

Plus the two cars cost the same and compete in the same class.

No excuse (fanboy...that's funny), I would expect that most NA cars that are roughly the same size, with an engine size 2.3 liters larger would have a clear straight line advantage and that is exactly what the C63 has. If they weren't so ugly, I would have one

No hardware mods yet... although I am planning on doing the DINAN rear section (which I used to have on my E60 back in 2007 and loved)...

Here is a quick video to show what a beast it is (sorry for the short vid):

Looking forward to dynoing it on a Maha Dyno on Wednesday, along with a 997 TT, and R8 I will make a thread on it in the next month when load calms down

The aftermath will be that the R8 V10 will have more output than the Lamborghini Gallardo, and the 997TT will leave the M5 in the dust.

The F10 M5 was insanely faster than this one but didn't have the same "feeling" to it... I just love the rawness of the v8 and v10..

Great color on the R8. Mine had the same color. I really miss it, specially the 6MT. Never experienced a transmission as slick as that one in any mid/rear engined car.

Dinan rear section? Mike give the car some love. Headers and catless exhaust with the right tune and you are close to 500whp range. S85 at those power levels is a total monster IMHO. The S65 is nice, but the bigger brother is just better.

The V10 was so sick. In the M3 I never experienced the surge of power up top like the V10 gave.

I remember close to redline you'd have that "oh shit" moment.
I'm hoping the 585 kit brings my M3 into this realm. I will post a review when I have it installed.

Both numbers are recorded by sport auto so assume both cars are driven by the same driver or someone with pretty much same skills. As a fan boy but still have to admit C63 does faster at track. I owned c63 and now M3 , dont get me wrong I love the M3 way more.

I'm not a fan boy, I don't have any problems admiting the C63 is faster on the Nurburgring but still I'm convinced that if you put both cars in the hands of the same beginner driver, he would be faster with the M3 and could possibly end up in the ditch with the C63, one has 295ft-ld of torque and runs on 265 tires, the other has +400ft-lbs of torque and runs on 255s, one is a scalpel, the other is a butcher knife, which one you think is the easiest to operate with! Honestly I don't care about track times, if the C63 was available with a manual tranny I would probably have one!

Don't worry, it will bring your M3 pass that, the power is so exponential on these kits, it's just crazy fun pass 6500rpm!!

Haha... we will see on the M5... I'm thinking catless but for now want to key the car low key. If I want to cause a ruckus I will drive a different car

The Audi is R-Tronic... shifts much smoother than the E60 M5's SMG III with trans software... But also doesn't feel like the shifts are as fast.

I must say that the 6 speed in the 997 TT is pretty epic. I want it in my M3!

The S85 is a raw engine. Also the SMG III is kick ass transmission in S7 mode. Not as smooth as DCT, but way more exciting and responsive. I have to say if i could i would get my M6 with 6MT as the SMG is jerky as hell in city however the kick it has on upshift is awesome.

Oh cool. A nice DD with a beast of engine under the hood.
