Monte Carlo Blue is a great colour. Yeah BMW Toronto had both yellow and white individual cars in their showroom - last week anyway

picking up my alpine white special edition next week. I could've gotten a GTR with that price... still not completely convinced that I've made the right decision.

I hear you, but after driving a 2009 GTR in Britain last year I would say "yes - they are devastating in straightline speed" and "Yes - they cornor hard with amazing ability" but they are a little bit like driving a Laptop computer! 'No soul' - unlike the true bloodline enstealthed 'Ultimate Driving experience' that is your new ride
Enjoy it!! Also (and I haven't checked it but), I bet the first 48 months servicing on a GTR is expensive too!! And insurance - My broker said he finds BMW's to be pretty much the safest rated + toughest to steal vehicles that he comes across..... Looking forward to your feedback 'post delivery', to hear your thoughts!! Cheers M |

=) You should be one of their sales persons. I'll post my feedbacks once I pick it up next week. But it won't be anything that you guys haven't heard of, i.e. great handling, exciting to drive etc. I've driven it last year at Skip Barber racing school, completely fell in love with it, which is why the impulse took over when I visited the dealer last week =) |

I had a pretty bad experience with the dealer I purchased the car from actually, just when I decided to try another dealer, they called me back and apologized, so I went with them. DCT btw. |

Town + Country BMW in Markham. The sales manager wouldn't waive the last month penalty on my father's bmw x3 for returning it a month earlier when I am buying a car that's well over 100k from them. Pissed me off big time. He gave me this attitude as if there's no one else selling AW special edition anywhere else on this planet.
I wouldn't mind swapping with you if you have Yokohama Advan RS wheels in dark gunmetal That's what I intended to get until I saw the special edition. |

Actually, they just called me and said they are charging an extra $1200 for "pre-delivery service". They never told me anything about this before selling me the car. |

Same happened to me, when I got the quote for my car they did not include this PDS, unfortunately, I had deleted the e-mailed quote accidentally by the time my car was delivered, so I didn't have a leg to stand on to bitch about it.

Don't let the dealership jerk you around like that. I had a lot of trouble negotiating a good deal on my car. Especially over the phone, from a car that is not in my city. The dealer (which I will not disclose the name), leveraged off the fact that it was an "edition" M3, and that it was the exact spec/color that I wanted. I finally got frustrated enough that I backed out of the deal, took my deposit, went to my local dealership, have them send the car over, and give me a good discount.

Gearhead is correct. They can still charge PDI, processing fees etc., but it must be upfront and advertised on the original quote. They can not add it on later when you come to pick up the vehicle. That bait and switch practice is now illegal.
