hey sparky,
i think it doesnt matter how much power you have, you always want more !!! when i was a kid, 150 - 200hp was plenty for a regular street car... now i have almost 300hp and i want more, you have over 400 and you still want more... it's intoxicating BTW, any of you guys enjoy the High Level Bridge (109St SB) as much as i do??? i love the sound of my exhaust in there, i cant imagine what the M3 would be like... and yes, i'd recommend Eurasia for you guys, at least based on this one-time experience... |

Yeah, it's kind of a feeler, but really if I sell the winters then I will definitely park the M for the winter. It was a blast last winter but I bought a new truck this year so I am pretty content keeping the M in the garage.

Mine is going into Edmonton BMW on Thursday to get my ugly diff noise taken care of. And then it's going into hibernation for the winter. Can't wait to be flying around in my 95 Ford Explorer!

Hey Glenn.
Just thought you should know that I just got back from VIR today. What a wonderful track , full of suprising corners, lots of elevation change and fast straights. Certainly the most interesting track I have been on. It seems to change ( at least the line does ) as you go faster . Certainly one that was on my bucket list. The end of november is Road Atlanta with Chin Motorsports again. Very organized and lots of seat time. I know how you'd want to be doing this. The concrete looks daunting. |

It's a beautiful 1995 white Explorer Limited, with a big rust spot by the gas tank. I am going to get a bumper sticker that says. "My other car is a M3.. Really!"

Ordered new winter tires
The rears of my Blizzak LM-25's are done. 2 winters. The shoulder season here just kills them. March/April here just wears them down. I am going with the new Blizzak LM-60's. We'll see how they improved the design Anyone wanna buy my used fronts. They prob have 50% tread left. Good deal for someone. |

Fine here, no issues, but will be nice to get the new rears on with more tread for better snow grip
Car is fantastic with just a little drift if you want |

speeding ticket
got a speeding ticket on Hwy 2 around Airdrie on Saturday... it was cold, but the roads were clean, except in a few places where i did slow down... anyway, although i had the detector in place, i didnt notice that brown / burgundy F150 on the right lane and closed off on him at 152 apparently... when the detector went off, it was too late... i know i was speeding, 152 might be a tad high, but w/e... however, what i didnt like is the guy's comments: "these little cars dont handle well in the winter" "how's the convertible? i always thought they get cold in the winter" "these winter tires dont do much for you" seriously? if you wanna give me a ticket, fine, but keep your stupid opinions for yourself ! i'd like to see a handling / accelerating / braking comparison between my "sports car" with high performance winters vs all the trucks / SUV / family sedans i passed with all-seasons on !! anyway, he said it's $200 and change (i didnt bother checking the exact amount), but what about demerits? although i hate paying that for a ticket, it's still a decent deal for the amount of driving i do it's like the highway tolls in Europe, kind of !! alright, just needed to vent ! oh, and i did see a AW E90 (i believe, just by looking at her butt) at West Ed today at noon Pat |

Hey Fellas, I'm on the hunt for an 08/09 M3 sedan with manual or DCP and the full load. I'm heading to San Diego/LA in early Jan to look for a potential import now that the RIV requirements are easy to meet.
