Hey guys - I've got a stock 2013 with the 18"s and the only suspension mod is the guide pins. Camber is set at -1.5.

I need track wheels and would prefer to stick to 18 in wheels, and of course no rubbing is very important on a track setup. I was looking at common setups and found that TE37s seem to be popular choices at ET 22.

I calculated the diameter of the wheel/tires and concluded I could (theoretically) put a 275/35/18 up front and a 305/35/18 out back, keeping close to the original diameter so as to not mess up the DSC/ABS programming.

I looked through the rubbing thread, but much of the suspension there was lowered, and I'm finding it very confusing finding what fits with what. Thanks

275/35/18 will fit in the front. Many people run 265/35/18 in the front which is easier to fit. I always run 275's.

285/35/18 is the best rear tire size for a Te37. 305/35/18 may be consistent with the OEM diameter but the TE37 wheel offset is too aggressive for it. 285/35/18 is the widest possible without rubbing on a TE37.

Are there any other wheels that are better suited to the task? I'm not set on any specific design, just throwing the TE37 out there since it seems to be popular.

Edit: It looks as if the combination you specify is exactly 0.4" smaller OD front and rear, keeping the computer happy. I don't find RS3s in the desired front sizes on Tirerack though. Where do you get the tires (and wheels) to accommodate the setup?

I run Apex ARC8 in 18 x 9.5/10.5 with 265/35 and 285/35. The ARC8 are available in a few offsets. I use the ones they used to call aggressive fitment. No spacers needed.

The RS3's are available in 275/35/18, 265/35/18, and 285/35/18 on tirerack - see "version 2". Other comparable tires are Nitto NT05 or BF Goodrich G-Force Rivals (my tire of choice). If you want to step up to R-comp then Nitto NT01 is a good option.

This all depends on what you want to achieve. There are many 18" wheel options... The te37's are popular because they are light, high quality, and fairly priced given their quality. You won't have any issues with the 265/285 tire combo, or the 275/285 tire combo. 295's will not fit on the rear with TE37's because the offset is too aggressive. You need et25 or more to fit 295's in the rear.

Apex are a common choice around here because they are cheap, light, and have good offsets. The Apex wheels are available in 10.5 et27 rear which allows for use of a 295/35 tire.

I would stick with Volk, Advan, or BBS (much more expensive). You could do HRE or Forgeline if you wanted to build a custom set. Lastly Apex is a decent low-cost option.

I personally run Advan TC3's with 275/295 tires. I would consider selling them if you are interested shoot me a PM. Here are some pictures with 275/285 tires and Advan TC'3 (I now run wider rear tires).
