ESS, their tuning guy is an ex-bmw engineer and tunes aren't rehashes/remixes of other tunes

I have the DINAN stage 2 and I'm sorry to say this but I hate it (not enough power and the car sucks gas like there is no tomorrow) I'm actually planning to switch with the ESS with the Akrapovic tune.

If you have the akra evol exhaust then you def should go with ESS tune.

Well, same thing goes for Evolve. Inhouse customized flashes together with their flashtool/cable....And what i like about them is that they dont brag about any glory dyno runs like every other tuner at this forum does....Numbers on dynos are'nt worth shit! Its on the streets everything goes down! My 2 cents....

When I get mine I'm going to do either the evolve or ESS
Can't beat the simplicity of getting the Evolve tho...

Numbers on the street are heavily influenced by weather conditions
and driver ability. At least on the dyno, you've got SAE correction to adjust for weather so you can try to compare apples to apples as much as possible. Check the Dyno Database (www.bmwdynodatabase.com) for over 400 S65 dyno results. It's pretty easy to tell which ones are glory runs, and which ones aren't. There's also an Evolve Stage-2 tune recently added in there as well. |
