Vacuumed CF Splitters question
How are you guys installing these? Says screw under... is this screwing done but not visible?
Also are people 3M taping these on? Lastly, are you guys happy with the quality, if so please let me know where you got it and price you paid! I see so many, but want to be sure the quality is good. |

I got the cheap imitation (I say that in jest as the purest would laugh) ones from JBSpeed as I could buy 3 sets for the price of one of the others. I couldn't be happier.
I used the red 3M automotive tape and the 1 screw. Others are drilling a second screw. I have 3K miles on so far and no issue whatsoever.

if you want to save a few bucks, get the replica one either from ebay or from e92 lighting. they are very good rep for the price and fits well enough. if you are extremely anal about fitment, get oem. i dont see the point of blowing 500 for an accessories that could be easily scraped and damaged so i went the replica way. very happy so far

These have to be the exact same that the replicas some vendors have:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/271036878621...84.m1423.l2649 I emailed the guy about installation, he said this: "hello the items are with holes for you to install with screws directly, you can also add some sealant glue if desired." |

Big difference in quality. Never buy the chinese painted things, (spoilers, etc) but the Tawaiinese ones are very good quality. The Chinese ones are cheaper from China. Most if not all the painted spoilers, diffusers, carbon fiber accessories etc that many forum vendors sell come from Tawaiin. The copies can be installed the same way as the OEM ones (they may just not fit or look as good). Use the one factory screw and 3M tape around the perimeter.
