Geoff Steel Intake

A couple weeks ago I came across a video of an M3 owner who had essentially fabricated his own radiator to fit the Geoff Steel kidney mounted intake. What was different about this one was that, there were no ventilation holes in the position of the front license plate mount for a downward angled radiator. It's also safe to assume that the A/C was still intact. Curious if anyone here has done something similar.

It would be interesting to know if there is any way to adapt the geoff steel intake without having to modify the radiators or A/C

Maybe a stupid question but is there an air filter in there somewhere?

Yes it's at the front. And you have to lower the radiator to fit because the air filter takes up the whole kidney spacing. Look at Warp10s build.

I see. Clean looking intake! I just worry that the air filter may obstruct flow in this location? Very neat nonetheless!

You have to move the radiator. There's no way around it.

Yes there is a filter and you will have to modify the radiator.

We used an e46 m3 radiator and tilted it.

I do not have AC and using the M24 PS Kit.

Does the E46 M3 rad provide sufficient cooling as opposed to a do88 E92 M3 rad?
