milltek V. eisenman

I am a novice at exhaust systems, soooo What is the big difference between the Milltec exhaust at $1700 v. the Eisenman at $2800? They both seem to be mellow sounding exhausts, so why such a big difference in price??? Is the Eisenman exhaust 1K better????? Why, why not???

IND took a tour to Eisenmann in Germany.

Great write up on how much time and R&D thats involved for their systems.

Wow...great info. Eisenmann is the real deal. I was on the fence between Eisenmann and a Vanguard and I think I am inching closer to the Eisenmann.

Thanks

You also have to consider just the overall production/operating expenses from some companies to set their price. Shipping/freight charges along with associated taxes also ramps up a price. None of these things have anything to do with if one product is actually better than others but will have a large impact on final price overall.

Agreed! people like to think they have better products just because they paid for for them.

Want quality? Eisenmann.

Sure it's heavy but at least you know it will last

I just can't stand drone. If I could, for sound/power then Gintani 24/7.

I've seen and heard both exhausts but only travelled with the Miltek.

Miltek sounds more muscular at low revs.

Drone, none really, just a very faint hum at around 2k rpm which one can only hear if not talking, listening for it or radio not on.

It absolutely sings at high revs

I don't like the way the Eisenmann does not come with full pipes and one has to cut the OEM exhaust off!

Quality, no difference on the outside but personally the Miltek tailpipes look better and just seem to be a better visual match.

Didn't know Milltek made an exhaust for the M3. Had it on my R32 and was really happy with it.

Milltek Blows

Milltek's customer service sucks, they don't even know their own product! Please don't give them a penny. Eisenman is a great product.

Exhaust is personal pref'
Think of it as a straw, they're all different colors and sizes and one may make a different noise when you blow through it. But which do you like better? Can't go wrong w/t Eisenmannzzzz..!
