He's running KW Clubsports. Those are 20" BBS LMs if I remembered correctly, that's why the car is so tucked. He's a really cool guy, I don't know his name on the forums but he's been to my track events. If I remember correctly, he was raising the car and getting 18" for the track.
I'll send him a email and see if he will respond back to this. Sidenote, some of you guys said some pretty stupid/rude shit. I guarantee you, if you weren't sitting behind a computer and keyboard, you wouldn't be saying those things.. Food for thought.

What do you think the ///M engineers in Garching would say if they saw his car?

Obviously the guy has it low because he tracks his car. BMW is not going to put out track suspension for a normal M3. The R&D on the M3 stock suspension is set for everyday spiritual driving and not race and thats why we have companies like Kw and bilstein that tweak suspensions for the track and one of the tweaks is lowering the car for better handling characteristics and centre of gravity. I would be rolling that suspension all day knowing how much I like being on the track over the street. I also think it looks sick sitting low but maybe be annoyed about speed bumps and pulling in places but its defenitly used for function with the Clubsports on the track.

I couldnt have my car that low being a vert... but nothing wrong with this ride.. the LMs compliment the car. If everyone had their M looking the same it would be pretty fucking boring.
