The post is full of wrong info.
First of all only 125 GTS has been produced not 250. And the weight difference between M3 and GTS is around 150 lbs not 300.
Also 240 lbs lighter CSL has no A/C, no radio, no Xenon which were chosen by most of the CSL owners.

They are great cars, no doubts. However, CSL is one fine machine which looks perfectly tuned from Factory but GTS on the other hand just looks plain aftermarket..

I really like the GTS but the CSL is just so freaking special looking to me, I'd have to take it over the GTS.

I have to agree with that. The CSL is my absolute favorite among all M3s and it is just amazing how good and modern it still looks. Not that I have a problem with the E9X M3s but I think the E46 as a generation was the sweet spot in the history of M3s.

I can't get over the fact that the GTS is only 2 seconds faster than the CSL around the Ring...

CSL looks amazing! I think the GTS would look better in a similar colour. I've seen it on the road and I can't get past the Fire Orange paint. Apart from that, 2 epic cars. I wish there was a shot of them together.

So what, when we don't send pictures to you, you take old treads to make your homepage ? LOL

It has been said : Not 250 GTS but 135 worldwide (not 125, I had a look at number 126... mine is 124)

It has been said too : weight comparution is wrong

Finally, and once again it has been "implied" too, Ring times are false. As for EVERY BMW, BMW does not indicate real times. The 1er M Coupe in 8:15 is a big joke and the GTS in 7:48 too

I was on the racetrack last saturday with poor Pirelli P Zero Corsa Tires and with my 20 years old drive I followed 996 GT3 on slick tires and 997 GT3 RS !!

Will take my GoPro HD next time and I will have Michelin Pilote CUP, I will try to post my video here

E46 M3 CSL looks sooo awesome after all these years and will continue to do so 10 years from now as well. Definitely a collector's car that will be sought after in the years to come.

E92 M3 GTS looks good to but I'm not sure if I'll be able to feel the same about the F30 M3 based on looks alone.

Lovely cars... if they offered the CSL in 6MT would have been there many years ago!
