Anyone know the Steering Ratio for the new M3??
I'm hoping for some nice quick steering. Not Buick-style.
13.9:1 or less and I'm happy. Anyone heard anything?? |

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz Now let's just hope the M3's isn't too boosted. According to the various dealer info/files that have been posted, it sounds like the M-Drive button has an option to "heavy-up" the steering. With a 12.5:1 ratio, it's obvious BMW wants to keep this car razor-sharp! That should avoid the "bigger, heavier, softer" criticism.... but we might see some "too many electronics" criticism, since we might have a lot of options for adjusting how the car feels. You know those auto-journalists... they just want to hop in and drive, since they only get a day or so with the car. They never could understand i-Drive.... but I digress..... |

Now that the C63 is official I thought a little update would make sense.
Here we go with the steering ratio of the "BIG 3": M3: 12.5:1 RS4: 13.1:1 C63: 13.5:1 Best regards, south |

Can't wait to see/hear some official comparisons and not a bunch of conjecture on which will out-perform the other based on 0-60 times and hp/trq numbers.
