Are Recaros padding that thin? I am trying to pick out some seats that hold me better, but not sure if i wanna seat that makes me numb on long rides.

I think you have a few options:
1)Start lifting lower body as much as you do upper = squats, lunges.
2)Buy a gel pad from the pharmacy
3)trailer the car
or my favorite
4)butt implants

i do legs quite a bit but no ass to show for it. my preference would be to find a featherlight open trailer and go that route.

What about a pillow rather than a towel? Should probably offer more padding.

I don't notice it when I'm driving at the track at all. Its when I'm stuck in traffic. There are different levels of recaros. Sportsters and things of that nature are a street seat and covered and padded like one, but also weigh more.

My Recaro Pole Position hurts like a mother on long drives. I may need to look at some Sparcos.

Until then just get the botox injections a week before the track day. Groupon / Living Social has some good deals.

If you are absolutely sure you wont get a trailer i would suggest butt implants like the others already have.

My $.02.

A guy I know once told me that there are temporary prosthetic devices available online that can help with that - why do you think Bigjae is so relaxed and carefree during his offs?
