I'm not exactly sure how the High Power version's look. I just know that they send out a much stronger signal. I would email Cliff about it and mention you saw the GB thread but had a question.

That is correct, mostly. The HP model has one sensor (where the bubble is) and two laser diodes, each diode perpendicular to the other. They are the same model of diode in the non-HP head, just two of 'em. You can mount the HP heads vertical and presumably have the same performance.

Cheers.

Which interior trim did everyone install the switch to? Just curious because I'm a lease and trying to figure out which trim piece is the least expensive since I would have to buy another one at lease end to replace the cut up one.

Someone on E90 posted this pic of a setup, leaning on doing the same thing with my switch now.

I'll send you a pic in a couple days showing how I'm setting it up The install is such that you won't have to make any unnatural movements when turning it off

For those PMing me asking if they can still get in on the group buy, I talked to Cliff and he said he would be willing to honor the group buy pricing. PM me with your email and what setup you want and I'll forward that to him.

the purpose of doing the quad is so you can protect the rear of the car as well as the front, on an e9x you certainly do not need 4 sensors up front.

That implies the V1 is on top of the radar detector heap, which hasn't been true for years.
