What's the cic controller upgrade?

Just the removal of the old idrive controller and installing the 2010 model which gives better functionality mate, you then need to upgrade all software on the vehicle.

I bought mine from a mate along with the console for around 100 quid, however you are looking at buying used then allow 90-150 for controller and around 1-200 for centre console.

Take the car to bmw or local indy they will plug the computer in and it tells you how long the update will take.

Mine was 8 hrs and i was charged 150, that included coding for my LCI lights etc too.
