Do you guys notice a rare light clanking noise under 2k RPM when the car is trying to speed up form a crawl? Can happen anywhere, but maybe more noticeable when you are climbing?

EDIT: It is most noticeable in higher gears. I am pretty sure this is normal and can be heard in all Akra Evo M3s, but since it's not very noticeable most people probably don't heard it. I think the following thread is talking about the same thing http://www.m3post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=477144&highlight=akra+noise.

Put it in higher gears (4, 5, or 6) and give it a bit more gas, you'll probably hear what I am talking about at around 2k RPM.

Check that the front section is not making contact with anything - from the secondary o2's to the transmission area. The engine has a resonance around 2k that can cause the front section on any exhaust to vibrate. If it isn't installed properly, there is a chance it could be rattling.

I would not suspect the rear section as it is pretty damn hard to screw up that part of the installation.

It's more noticeable in higher gears, so it can't be parts making contact because it will then be heard in all gears. I'm pretty sure this is normal and can be heard in all Akra Evo M3s, you guys just aren't paying close enough attention. Read the thread I posted!
