e46 OEM 18 square setup on e92 M3?
Hi all, Tried this in the track section, not a lot of luck...thought I'd try here:
I've got a set of e46 OEM 18" squares (4 rears) that I used on my e46M for track wheels. I've got fairly new NT01's (275's) on them, and wonder if they would bolt right up to the e92. I installed studs last weekend, so just need to try...but figured I'd ask as well. I've seen the e46 crowd run the style 219's, etc, so figure they are interchangeable. Obviously not the most $$/optimal set up in the world...but they are just sitting in the garage. For reference, I run about 6-8 weekends a year. thanks! BK |

you will probably need spacers to fit but it all depends on the offset of teh OEM wheels! good luck

a while back forum member "Technic" did this. Here's what he wrote regarding using the square set up:
I used 4 rear ZCP wheels (19x9.5) on all corners of my M3, with 275/30 tires square setup. Rear-only 15mm spacers just to have the wheel flush with the fender; no front spacers needed for a flush look, IMO. You can do the 265/285 tire setup if you want to stay with the staggered setup but wider front and rear tires than OEM. http://www.m3post.com/forums/member.php?u=1065 |
