North Jersey Hand Car Wash...

With the cold season coming up and die hard ///M owners who drive their car all season like me. Where can you fellows recommend I go for a good wash in the Bergen county area? I'm shutting down my pipes tomorrow so no more self cleaning for me till next spring.

All Star Hand Car Wash in Teaneck...

Do you have a garage w/ a drain in it? you could always do it in there, I have a drain in my garage so I'm going to start washing my car myself more to avoid swirl marks that I've been getting from these "HAND CAR WASHES"

lol if your in a jam & really need to wash it...no problem anything for a m3 brethren

there is also this solution that you could use...I don't have any personal experience with it but I've heard good things...shouldn't be too bad in a jam

optimum no rinse

i use opitimum no rinse when it gets colder or when I don't have a ton of time. Scary at first to think your rubbing the dirt with the sponge without rinsing the car. However, this product works great and it is definitely a solution if you don't have access to hose or limited time. Just please make sure you have two buckets, grit guard, and proper drying marterial. Also the grout sponge works great as well. This will definitely be my winter solution.

i located a laser touchless car wash (nothing touches your car - only soap and water) on the corner of River St. and E. Anderson St. right near the Fairleigh Dickinson University.

does the job for the winter months - quick rinse - no swirl marks - soap is mild so nothing bad for the paint.

Guys, I'm a detailer and believe me when I say these "hand car washes" will cause swirls. The best wash method is Optimum No Rinse(ONR) in the winter. It is 100% safe if done properly, and is actually much faster and convenient than a conventional wash. The face that you can do it using warm water without a hose makes it a no brainer for winter washing. I'll be making an ONR wash guide on my website shortly, since the winter is coming and I want to ensure all my clients keep their paint looking good. I would be more than happy to share it here as well once I have it finished up.
