my new ride!

So I've finally become part of the family and got me a Space Gray M3 with Premium and Competition package.
After lots of thinking I went for "simple" black interior. I wasn't sure how would beige or "blue" interior work with gray and I was totally decided that the exterior will be gray. For some time I was thinking about the FoxRed, but I felt like it's bit "too much" so black it was.

So far I love the car! was driving it home from LA to San Francisco and was kind of in the cruising mode, will wait after it's breaked in.

got some photos on facebook (just form my phone) .. not sure if it will display though

I have a question regarding the car manual folders, .. is there a place in the car where I should put it in? .. I doesn't fit into glovebox (just briefly checked though)

I didn't have much time to "play" with it, I had to go back to SF

Also, regarding the garage door openers.. are there some that won't work ?

it will fit in the ski pass thru if you have cold weather or in the cubby in the trunk to the right.

Congratulations on your new car ... you will love it

I store my manuals on top of the tool kit (trunk area right hand side).

Re; Garage door opener, I had to call my carriage door motorized opener supplier after going thru there instructions in thee manual, they reset my code via satelite (I tried several times following the manual instructions without success). I'm sure you find a phone number in the manual.

Welcome to the M3 club. Suggestion, you can download the manual as pdf and store it on your smart phone so you don't need to lug the manual with you.

Just speaking from experience :-)

RE: Owner's manual...I don't know if it's just me, but I could use an owner's manual for the owner's manual.....fail

the question I asked is because GolfV had a top portion of glovebox where you could fit it including the "folder"
350z I put it behind seat into a small storage thingy

but here I can really fit it only to trunk from the look of things (and as some of you suggest).. so I was wondering if there was anything out there

thanks for the warm welcome and for the tips...

edit: so it does fit really well into the trunk to that small box above tools .. so I'd say l'll leave it there

I managed to install infant car seat into the car .. but man, that was close

thanks god I'm short so I could slide the seat closer to the wheel, otherwise it won't fit and I would have to fit it behind passenger seat.

anyone having infant car seat in theirs too ?

Congrats on the new purchase. I think you will hate the leather in your back seats once the infant seat ruins it. I refused to put my kids boosters in the back as it would not do the seats any justice.

Rear seats are tight. I am 6'3 and my 10 year old is cramped in the back.

I have 3 manuals in an M pouch, and they fit fine in the glove box.

Congrats! I thought about Space Grey before I decided on Alpine White. I had a Grey VW R32 before and wanted a different color.

Thank you guys,

Yeah, holding it back before I hit 1200 is bit hard, but if the car needs it, it will get it

Btw I'm now somewhat in the half, and are looking for a recommended dealer for the service. I've seen quite bad feedback on BMW San Francisco... Any good recommendation for Bay Area?

Took a trip today to Santa Cruz... Was nice drive along 1 hwy and back on 101 ... Love the car!!!
