Does anyone know the name and where one would buy the steel plates placed under a cars tires while it's sitting on carpet? They are often used at the Autoshows.

If you're referring to the polished diamond plate, you should be able to find it on the internet pretty easily. You can always search locally for places that sell aluminum sheet.

I have seen them at Canadian Tire, but that was several years ago. Not sure if there's a Lordcord store in Toronto, but I know they used to carry those.

I've decided to use RaceDeck. They aren't as clean looking as I was hoping however it's what I can get my hands on quickly.
