just want to share my favourite driving moments from the trip to Transfagarasan Highway. It was just stunning. Can recommend it to all of you who is thinking to go there

or u can rent a car there, it´s much more comfortable solution

Anyway, the road is totally worth a visit. I did 1300 km one way to experience it

This road is on my hit list for roads I'd like to do on a motorcycle trip! Nice driving - though made me nervous as a motorcyclist with how often you were well across the center line.

I was surprised to read a review in one of the motorcycle mags I subscribed to (Road Runner) recently did an article on it, which made me doubt whether it was worth the trip. Didn´t read it, what was the main reasons they did not recommend the road? The traffic was very low when I was there ( around 9 AM, wednesday, july ). Surely during weekend it can be busier. Anyway, yea, I was across the center line in every corner ( cause such a line is just quicker and safer in meaning of placing the car ) but I was always looking ahead for cars and motorbikes. Also, I had a co-driver next to me telling me if the road is clear
